Brazilian motorsport has another representative confirmed on the Formula 3 grid for the 2027 season. Gabriel Gomez was announced by the LN4 Fusion team to compete in next year’s championship. The driver will make his debut in the category after contesting the European Formula Regional Championship this year.
Gomez was one of the leading figures in Brazilian karting, claiming the Brazilian title in 2018 and finishing as European karting vice-champion in 2023 and 2024, in addition to competing in the World Championship of the discipline in those years. His motorsport debut came in 2023 when he contested a triple round of the Spanish F4, an appearance he repeated in 2024.

One year later, he clinched the Formula Winter Series title and finished as runner-up in the Italian F4, the premier championship of the discipline worldwide, racing for US Racing. This year, Gomez made his season-long debut in the Formula Regional European Championship, competing for Rodin Motorsport. The driver finished the season in 14th place, with three top-5 finishes and eight top-10s.
“I am very happy with this opportunity to join LN4 Fusion and to race in the Formula 3 season next year. I am grateful to the team, to my sponsors, and to everyone who helped make this opportunity possible. I look forward to working with everyone involved in this new project and I am confident that we can do a great job together on track,” Gomez said.
“Gabriel has shown impressive potential, and we are excited to work with him. He has an outstanding résumé and we see all the ingredients for a positive season together. We face a big challenge ahead, and we will start preparing as quickly as possible to maximize what we can achieve,” said Dan Richards, CEO of LN4 Fusion.

With Gomez joining the squad led by Lando Norris, Brazil now has two confirmed names on the Formula 3 grid for next year. Still with this year’s season underway, Pedro Clerot announced his continued stay with Rodin Motorsport for 2027. The Brasília-born driver finished the season in sixth place and won a race, in Madrid.
The 2027 Formula 3 season will begin on March 13 and 14 at the Sakhir Circuit in Bahrain.
