The 2026 NASCAR Brasil season reaches its sixth round this weekend, from August 21 to 23, at the Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna in Londrina, Paraná. Behind the wheel of the No. 5 Camaro, Denis Navarro returns to the track with the aim of turning the competitiveness shown throughout the season into race results.
The São Paulo driver arrives at the Paraná circuit backed by a decades-long career in national motorsport. A runner-up in the Brazilian Brands Championship, Navarro began his career in karting and later competed in categories such as Formula Ford, Formula Chevrolet, and South American Formula 3.

The expectation for the round is to capitalize on the pace shown during testing and to secure a prominent position in the races. According to Navarro, speed has been a constant throughout the season, but mechanical issues prevented turning that performance into results.
“We’re always fast, even in the last round we were in the lead positions and we had a failure. The goal is to translate our work into results, because the competitiveness we’ve shown throughout the championship needs to be reflected in the results,” he explained.
The round’s schedule begins on Friday, August 21, with the Shakedown, followed by an extra practice and the first free practice session.

On Saturday, the 22nd, Navarro returns to the track for the third practice session. The schedule continues with qualifying and the Sprint Race, which are also part of the event’s program.
The Sunday, August 23, will be reserved for NASCAR Brasil’s two races. The first race is set to begin at 9:02 a.m., with an expected duration of 23 minutes plus one lap. The second race starts at 2:08 p.m., lasting 33 minutes plus one lap.
The sixth round of NASCAR Brasil 2026 will be broadcast on SBT, ESPN, Disney+, NSports and the official NASCAR Brasil YouTube channel.
