F1 Today: Is There a Race on Sunday, July 12?

Formula 1 will not hold a race this Sunday, July 12. Following the busy British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the sport takes a weekend off before the next round of the 2026 season.

The championship returns next week for the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps. Activities begin on Friday, July 17, while the race will take place on Sunday, July 19, at 10:00, Brasília time.

The Belgium weekend will follow the traditional format, with no Sprint. On Friday, the first practice session (P1) starts at 08:30 and the second practice (P2) takes place at 12:00. On Saturday, the third practice (P3) occurs at 07:30, followed by qualifying at 11:00.
