Kimi Antonelli decided to shake off the disappointment of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix and go have some fun, visiting the Wimbledon tennis tournament a day after the Silverstone race.
The Italian had been in contention for the win that weekend when a problem with his W17 cut power and sent him tumbling down the field. Later, a 5-second penalty for track limits wiped out any chance of scoring in the ninth round of 2026.
However, even with the sadness of a race outside the points zone in F1, the 19-year-old was present at the tennis tournament taking place in London. The event is one of the most prestigious on the sport’s calendar and is held near Silverstone.
Now, Formula 1 has a week off before another doubleheader that begins at Spa-Francorchamps.
