Nikola Tsolov won on Sunday (the 5th) the main race of the seventh round of the 2026 Formula 2 season, held at the Silverstone circuit in England. The Campos Racing driver overtook Kush Maini with ten laps remaining and assumed the lead for good with four laps to go, at the moment Oliver Goethe pitted, triumphing and sealing a weekend sweep, since he had already won the Sprint on Saturday.
The runner-up was Rafael Villagómez, a Van Amersfoort driver who opted for a strategy of starting on hard tires and finishing the race with soft compounds. Maini, with ART Grand Prix, finished third after leading the early part of the race. Alexander Dunne, from Rodin Motorsport, finished fourth, followed by Rafael Câmara, fifth for Invicta Racing after starting from pole position.

Gabriele Mini, in a MP Motorsport car, finished the race in sixth after adopting the same strategy as Villagómez. Noel León, from Campos Racing, was seventh, followed by Roman Bilinski, eighth for DAMS. Joshua Durksen, from Invicta Racing, finished ninth, while Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak completed the points in tenth with ART Grand Prix. Emmo Fittipaldi closed the race in 20th place with AIX Racing.
After the England round, Tsolov takes sole lead of the Formula 2 championship, with 141 points, ahead of 124 for the now-second-placed Mini. Câmara sits in third with 94 points. The top five is completed by Dunne with 92 and León with 69 points.
The next Formula 2 round is scheduled for July 17-19 at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.
