Pierre Gasly finally managed to lay hands on the third-place trophy from the Monaco Grand Prix in Formula 1, two weeks after the race in Monte Carlo concluded.
The Frenchman finished on the podium that weekend, but two penalties dropped him to seventh place. However, after Alpine’s appeal the P3 was returned to the competitor.
In the meantime, Isack Hadjar had lost position and, therefore, should hand the trophy to Gasly. After several weeks, on the eve of the Austrian GP, Red Bull delivered the prize to Pierre.
Now Gasly has six Formula 1 trophies, the third with Alpine. On social media, the driver posted a photo and wrote “the Monaco trophy found its way home. A happy day, a happy life.”
