The flagship reality show on Brazilian television, Big Brother Brasil, awarded contestant Samira with a Geely EX2, an electric vehicle from the Chinese manufacturer that operates in Brazil in partnership with Renault. The model is a compact hatchback that stands out for its rounder lines, giving it a younger appearance.
The model, the best-selling car in China in 2025, arrives in Brazil imported and offered in two trims: Pro and Max. Weighing 1,300 kg, the Geely EX2 measures 4.12 meters in length, 1.80 meters in width, 1.58 meters in height, and has a wheelbase of 2.65 meters. In addition, the trunk capacity is 375 liters, and there is also a front storage compartment with a capacity of 75 liters. Notably, there is no spare wheel. The wheels are 15 inches on the Pro version and 16 inches on the Max.
The EX2 is equipped with a rear electric motor capable of delivering 116 hp of power and 15.3 kgf.m of torque, with rear-wheel drive. It launches from rest to 100 km/h in 10.2 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 140 km/h. The model features a 39.4 kWh battery, which provides a range of 289 km, according to Inmetro. Charging power is 6.6 kW, with a 70 kW DC fast charger available in the network.
Internally, one notes the use of simpler materials, particularly rigid plastics. The infotainment system stands out with a 14.6-inch touchscreen and wired Android Auto connectivity, while the instrument cluster features an 8.8-inch display.
The model also comes, in the entry-level version, with assistive features such as forward collision alert, downhill assist, bidirectional charging, as well as rear-seat air vents, a split rear bench, and a rear ceiling light. The top version includes a basic ADAS package.
Currently, the Geely EX2 costs, in the Pro version, R$ 123,800.00. The Max version is priced at R$ 136,800.00, and its distinguishing factor is a greater suite of driver assistance and convenience equipment.
