The MotoGP heads to the Brno circuit this weekend for the ninth round of the 2026 season, the Czech Republic Grand Prix. As usual, beyond the premier class of world motorcycle racing, the event will feature races from the supporting classes Moto2 and Moto3, with a variety of clashes across all three championships.
Marco Bezzecchi leads the MotoGP championship with 180 points, ahead of second-placed Jorge Martín, his Aprilia teammate, on 160. Fabio Di Giannantonio, the VR46 rider, sits third with 138, followed by Pedro Acosta in fourth with 132. Marc Márquez completes the top five with 108. Diogo Moreira, on 36 points, is 16th in the standings.
In Moto2, Manuel González is the leader with 154.5 points, while Izan Guevara sits in second place on 105. The third position belongs to Celestino Vietti, who has accumulated 102 points, while Senna Agius is fourth with 94. Daniel Holgado, on 76, completes the top five.
Maximo Quiles leads the Moto3 championship with 170 points, ahead of second-placed Álvaro Carpe with 111. Marco Morelli has 77, one more than David Almansa, who is fourth with 76. The group of the five best also includes Brian Uriarte, who stands on 72 points after eight rounds.
The Brno schedule will open this Friday with the free practice sessions and the session that decides who moves directly to Q2 in qualifying. Saturday will feature more practice, the qualifying sessions, and, for MotoGP, the Sprint. The races are set for Sunday. ESPN and Disney+ will broadcast the weekend’s activities.
