June 14, 2026

TOYOTA RACING won this Sunday (the 14th) the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the world’s most prestigious endurance race and the third round of the WEC. The trio formed by Kamui Kobayashi, Mike Conway, and Nyck de Vries battled for victory from the start of the race at the Circuit de la Sarthe, and confirmed the win after coming out on top in a battle against rivals from other manufacturers.

The result marks Toyota Racing’s sixth victory at Le Mans, and the second win for Kobayashi and Conway. For De Vries, the triumph is his first in the world’s most important long-distance race. The team also saw its other TR010 HYBRID, driven by Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryo Hirakawa, finish in third place, also on the podium.

Regarding the championship, the Le Mans win is Toyota Racing’s second in the WEC season, since the team won the 6 Hours of Imola, the opening race. Kobayashi, Conway and De Vries reach 75 points and take the lead in the World Drivers’ Championship, while Buemi, Hartley and Hirakawa occupy third position in the standings.

Among the constructors, TOYOTA RACING also regains the lead of the championship, amassing 132 points after three rounds.

The 2026 WEC season will continue on July 12 with the dispute of the 6 Hours of São Paulo, the Brazilian round of the championship to be held at the Interlagos Circuit.
