F3: Pedro Clerot Climbs Ten Positions in Sprint, Targets Top-10 in Barcelona Main Race

June 13, 2026

The Brazilian Pedro Clerot was one of the Sprint’s standout performers as it opened the third round of the 2026 Formula 3 season, held in the early hours of this Saturday (13) at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain. The Rodin Motorsport driver advanced ten positions over the 21 laps, finishing the race near the points zone in 13th place.

After facing a challenging qualifying on Friday, Clerot showed speed in this morning’s race. Starting from 23rd on the grid, the driver of car number 17 quickly began to climb through the field, making overtakes and also avoiding incidents, even with damage to his car.

“We finished 13th today. We gained ten positions even though much of the race was run with damage to the rear of the car after contact at the start. I’m happy with the pace and confident that tomorrow we have a chance to score points. Let’s go for it,” said Pedro Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.

The first season of Clerot in Formula 3 has been marked by solid performances. The Brazilian secured his first podium early in the second round in the category, with a third-place in Monaco, and scored points in both rounds held this year. With this performance, the first-ever champion of F4 Brasil history has 16 points and sits ninth in the standings.

The race that closes the third round of Formula 3 will be contested in the early hours of Sunday (14), with a start at 3:40 a.m. F1TV will broadcast the event.
