Formula 3 returns to action almost three months after the season opener of 2026, as the category heads to the Monte Carlo Street Circuit in Monaco for the year’s second double-header. The stop in the Principality could begin to shape the field of contenders who will contest the championship this season.
The championship lead belongs to Ugo Ugochukwu, who clinched victory in the feature race in Australia and sits on 25 points. In pursuit, Bruno del Pino and Freddie Slater are tied for second with 18 points. Taito Kato sits on 16 points in fourth place, while Enzo Deligny completes the top five in the standings.
Brazil is represented by two drivers on the grid. Pedro Clerot, racing for Rodin Motorsports, occupies eighth in the standings with four points after the opening round of the year. Fernando Barrichello, known as Fefo, competes for AIX Racing and left Australia with zero points in the Formula 3 table.
Unlike the usual schedule, the weekend’s program will open on Thursday, a day reserved for the first free practice session of the event. Friday will feature the qualifying session that will determine the starting grids for the two races. The Sprint race is set for 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, while the main race begins at 2:55 a.m. on Sunday. Subscribers to F1TV will have access to the entire lineup of programming.
