Wyn Humphreys has had his Subaru N12 stolen on the eve of the Ulster Rally

At 04.20 am TEG Sport driver Wyn Humphreys had his Subaru Impreza, reg T15 TEG, stolen from the team accomodation for the Ulster Rally.

The team were staying at the Cohannon Auto Lodge, Dungannon, from where the car was stolen. 

The car was stored within a Brain James RS3 Trailer and attached to the towing vehicle. The theives detached the trailer from the van which had been reversed up close to a surround fence. They then attached to another vehicle and drove away, all in the space of 5 minutes.

Police say a blue Citroen van may have been seen in the area before the white trailer carrying the green, white and black Impreza was taken from outside licensed premises on the Ballynakilly Road.

The PSNI wants to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious.
