In this 24th edition of “Willy Weyens Rallyworld”, Willy Weyens and a team of Belgian journalists look back on the past rally season.
Just like the past editions, this book offers a comprehensive review of the Belgian and international season, both in text and exclusive images, but also with technical sheets. The new and successful format that was introduces three years ago has been maintained for the 256 pages of this ‘Willy Weyens – Rallyworld 2009”, which is entirely in colour.
In 28 years Willy Weyens has covered no less than 326 World Championship events and nineteen times the Dakar, visiting more than fifty countries all over the world. In "Willy Weyens - Rallyworld 2009" the author takes us to the World Championship, but also to the booming IRC and the Belgian Championship.”
Meanwhile the future stars of the World Championship give their view on the past season in exclusive interviews, such as Jari-Matti Latvalla who in Sweden became the youngest ever winner of a world championship event, taking over from Henri Toivonen. In a long interview with ‘Willy Weyens – Rallyworld 2009” the Ford driver talks about the first years, the past season and his ambitions for the future, in which he again will have to compete with one Sébastien Loeb, man of all records, who is dominating rallying like no one has ever done before.
