Guy Wilks considering IRC for 2009 season

Guy Wilks is chasing a drive in the IRC after he just missed out on a seat with Subaru in the WRC following the company's withdrawal, according to Autosport magazine.
Wilks told Autosport he intends to return to the 2010 WRC, but for now he's focused on a drive in the IRC:
The IRC looks exciting for this season. It's something I want to get invoved in. If we could get a deal, people would say 'Guy Wilks is here, he needs to be watched'. All I want is an opportunity to show what I can do."
He is currently talking to Skoda and Proton about the possibility of a seat this season.
