Wilks dominates BRC Pirelli International Rally 2008 as is fastest on all but two stages
Wilks eased to win the Pirelli by over a minute from Hanninen. David Higgins was third, with Morrow fourth despite gear selection troubles (was fastest on SS5) Patrik Flodin was fifth. Mark Higgins retired with a blown engine while Simon Jean Joseph retired with mechanical problems. Jonny Greer was a splendid 8th while Darren Gass recovered from losing ten mins off the road to finish 14th. Special mention to Alistair Fisher who won the FST round and finished second o/a in the National section just 12 secs behind the winner and ahead of Banner.
