The 16. BFGoodrich Veszprém Rally - FIA CEZ
2009. July held between the 3-4 was the fourth round of the Hungarian National Championship, The BFGoodrich Veszprém Rally.
After the first two super special stages the leaderboard read - 1. Turi Tamás, 2. Spitzmüller Csaba, 3. Turán Frigyes, 4. Herczig Norbert each other, some are observed with a second difference. (Detailed results: www.rallylive.hu)
Saturday the parc left it at the time of 9 in the morning fermét with the 1 start number march Herczig Norbert- Baranyai László duet, then one the real fight began following 20 minute services the Hajmáskér-Öskü.
The BFGoodrich Veszprém Rally ended in victory for the team of Spitzmüller - Kazár, while second place with a thirteen second difference was Turi - Tóth, while Herczig - Baranyai lead the championship. Spitzmüller Csaba - Kazár Miklós put in a great performance to win the event for their fourth time.
Turi Tamás- Tóth Imre really had a go on this event but had to settle for second best behind Spitzmüller.
Herczig Norbert-Baranyai László suffered machanical problems throughout to claim third overall in their Subaru S11 WRC.
Turán Frigyes - Zsíros Gábor had brake problems throughout according to the driver, and they were glad that the competition was finished and they are still in contention for the open championship
Spitzmüller Csaba - Kazár Miklós: I was very tense before the competition, but the victory succeeded! We are on exceeding heavy fight too, maybe the heaviest one Veszprém rallying, big stones, grit there are a delivery and mud. I hope for it with this our this year's bad luck series is interrupted finally with the winning round!
Turi Tamás - Tóth Imre: I should have wake up somewhat early, since his end whole I got into the routine. The result of this turned up, since on the second place made!
Herczig Norbert Baranyai László: The first happened round following a mishap we got into smaller time lag, then the dropped behind the car became vague because of a wing. I am a little bit disappointed, but the essence that we are here in the aim, and on the third place!
Turán Frigyes - Zsiros Gábor: The car, one which can be felt weakened by a lot to his end weaker one's was divorcing. The essence that we are here in the aim and we collected valuable dots!
Hungarian National Championship:
Ifj. Tóth János Tagai Róbert: A lamp glittered continuously, which distracted my attention a little bit, in the last lap from the leadership. I loved it the car on grit, it is necessary to practise it on asphalt only already.
Pethõ István Bacigal Igor: We fought continuously, from which we got out on a winner, all day long. Very much i'm happy, since as we managed to win last year, now!
Elek István Fejes Gábor: We came in order that we try this car. So much were our problem on the prologue, than generally on a whole competition, the driveshaft got ruined before, the tiller broke then, but we managed to come out somehow from the express. On the today's day though a stamping caused more serious one harms, but the essence that we are here in the aim!
Trencsényi József -Trencsényi Tamás: We are nearly twenty minutes late from the previous service because of a police identity cheque, but fortunately this credited. The velocity icon we were going slightly too carefully, which is seen on our results, possibly.
