Sergio Vallejo has been excluded from the 2009 Rally Rías Baixas, following a decision by the Spanish Automobile Federation.
Vallejo's Porsche 911 GT3 was pushed at the entrance of a service area (an illegal activity under Spanish regulations) by another driver (Álvaro Muñiz), after suffering mechanical problems with his Porsche 911 GT3.
Group N Mitsubishi Lancer driver Álvaro Muñiz was also been disqualified from the event for providing assistance and faces losing his competition licence.
Vallejo had provisionally won the event but Miguel Fuster has now been awarded the victory.
Commissioners decision:
Following the meeting of the College of Deportivos Commissioners of Rally Rías Baixas, in the headquarters of the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation, dated June 5, the decision has been made to exclude participants No 4 and No 15 of the said event .
The drivers of these vehicles have, in a timely manner before the Commissioners of Deportivos, two days to bring an appeal to the RFE A.
THE INCIDENT

The Nupel Rallye Team, it has been reported by the Spanish media, have withdrawn from the National Asphalt Championship with immediate effect.
