Valentino Rossi will do Wales Rally GB 08 though what car he will use has yet to be decided upon

Valentino Rossi, the MotoGP superstar and Yamaha factory rider, will contest Wales Rally GB 2008 according to his father Graziano in Autosport. His father stated that he will do the Monza Rallysprint then Rally GB, though they haven't decided which car Vale will use yet.

Graziano Rossi commented to Autosport:

We'll be at Monza and we'll also be on Rally GB. It's not sure which car we'll have (for Rally GB), it could be the Ford - which, in my opinion, is the proven package for us.

But Valentino might also drive a Subaru or Citroen, at the moment nothing is out of the question. There are some negotiations going on at the moment so it would be premature to say anything more."

Speaking a couple of months ago though, Ramsport boss Rob Atkinson stated to Motorsport News that Rossi would use a Focus and partner Mikkelsen in Wales.
