Marc van Dalen of Kronos Racing has confirmed that Pieter Tsjoen will participate in the Ypres Rally driving a Peugeot 207 S2000 for the team.
He will be in the team from with the works drivers Freddy Loix, Nicolas Vouilloz, Kris Meeke and BF Goodrich representative Belgium Thierry Neuville. Tsjoen indicated that he would only take part in a Peugeot, and his lobbying has paid off.
Tsjoen was on course for victory in 2007 in his Fiat Grande Punto, before he had to retire. The chances of a victory for a Belgian at home have strengthened with the confirmation of Tsjoen.
Bernd Casier has already claimed the second factory Abarth Grande Punto Racing seat as teammate of Giandomenico Basso.
