Rallye de France – Tour de Corse 2008 Entry List: No Alex Bengue but there are 26 WRCs entered

The Tour de Corse entry has recently been published and the WRC can boast another healthy field of World Rally Cars in the 80 car field.
There will be some disappointment for the French fans in the fact that Alex Bengue's (he had said he would enter) name dosen't appear on the list in his Yacco sponsored BSA 307 WRC, but they have Brice Tirabassi out for his second run in the SWRT S14 WRC. Duval will once again be in the senior Ford team as Latvala will still be relegated to the Stobart squad but will be back in the works team on the gravel events.
Outside the manufacturer entries you have the likes of Mikkelsen and Ostberg ready to renew their rivalry after their controversial last meeting on the Rally Larvik. Gareth Jones is back out in his Andrew Vicari sponsored S12b, Barry Clark returns for duty with the Munchi's squad and there is a smattering of private French WRCs.
The rally is the final JWRC round with Ogier odds on favourite to lift the title. Juha Hanninen enters another rally in his Evo 9 outside his PWRC commitments, as he seeks to gain further experience. Speculation has associated him with a 207 or Fabia S2000 for next season.
