The relatively young Overdrive team is run by Gregoire de Mevius and Jean-Marc Fortin. Polish driver Krzysztof Holowczyc was second for the team in the FIA World Cup Cross-Coutry, and the FIA Baja Cup this year.
Gradually, the small team based in Gembloux built a up a reliable and ultimately successful season. The experience gained by Gregoire de Mevius in the world rally championship and rally-raid, coupled with that of his former co-driver Jean-Marc Fortin, is bearing fruit and is being passed onto the rest of the team who rely on the Belgian pairing for advice. The Overdrive team that they created three years ago have now become international Rally Raid regulars.
The 2008 season was successful. Thus, Holowczyc, the rapid Polish drver, chose to compete in the FIA World Cup cross-country. "In four events, we won two and were third and fourth in the others," recalls Jean Marc-Fortin.

"The Team Overdrive Nissan Navara has shown great reliability throughout the year," Gregoire de Mevius noted. "Except for the mistakes of drivers, these machines are run by 4.0L V6 to 290 horsepower and have proved mechanically faultless."
Three cars in Dakar
A total of three pick-up from the workshops Bichon GEMBLOUTOIS will participate in the Dakar from out of the ordinary South America.
"Overdrive will take Twenty-two people by plane to Buenos Aires at the end of the month," said Fortin. Two pick-ups will be entrusted to Holowczyc and Norwegian Tollefsen. The third was purchased by Jacky Looman and we will assist him in the event. Our goal? Demonstrate the reliability of our equipment as we intended to do so last January in Africa."

I love all things Nissan and I’m happy that you’re machines are doing pretty well so far.
Unfortunately, there are no videos (short clips) of your team that give an account of what it takes to run the team on a day to day basis as the race progresses. Robby Gordon has his website that I find quite helpful to a fan that cannot be in the races.
So as a request, please upload short clips on You Tube; especially now that the second and most crucial part of the rally has begun.
Otherwise, all the very best and I expect that each Nissan will arrive at the finish in Buenos Aires. BON CHANCE!
