Barum Rally Zlin 2008 Preview: Jan Kopecky practicing in the Fabia S2000, Roman Kresta’s new livery and message from Ari Vatanen
The Barum Rally is this week and here is a video of Kopecky testing the Skoda Super 2000 yesterday which will be making it’s world debut as course car. The rally is set to feature a record number of S2000 cars and around 20 should start as a few have dropped out such as Brice Tirabassi.

Barum Rally Zlin 2008 has a record 22 S2000’s on the entry list, Skoda Fabia S2000 will run as course car
The Barum rally has attracted 22 Super 2000 cars a record so far for any event. The IRC and ERC qualifier should also witness the Fabia Super 2000 debut as course car. There are 15 207 S2000’s, 6 Punto S2000’s and 1 Polo S2000 included in the entry and all the championship regulars will be there. Roman Kresta will compete in a Super 2000 car for the first time
Roman Kresta will drive a 207 S2000 on the Rallysprint Kopna in the Czech Republic and also the Barum Rally in Zlin. The rallysprint event is very popular with the Czech’s and an important date in their motorsport calendar.
This will be Kresta’s first competitive outing in a S2000 car as has been more accostumed to driving an Evo9 of late. The 207 will be run by Peugeot… Continue reading
