The British round of the FIA World Rally Championship has been saved after the Motor Sports Association stepped in to underwrite the costs of the event.

Solberg to use Xsara on next two rallies but will test a new car after the Acropolis

Petter Solberg has stated to autosport.com that he will use the Citroen Xsara WRC on the next two WRC events, but he will test a new car next week with a view to changing for Rally Finland.

Solberg said to autosport.com:
