Erik van Loon and Harmen Scholtalbers will start on June 20th in the Vechtdal Rallysprint in Hardenberg, The Netherlands, with a Ford Focus RS 06 WRC run by Van Merksteijn Motorsport. The couple will trade their trusted Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X in for a modern WRC car for 6 special stages in Overijssel as a testing event.

The new generation World Rally Cars won’t run with turbochargers until 2013, when 1600cc engines could power them, according to Motorsport News.
