Rally di San Marino 2009: Paolo Andreucci wins after setting fastest time on every stage
Paolo Andreucci (Peugeot 207 S2000) won the Rally di San Marino after posting fastest times on all 10 stages.
Luca Rossetti was second in his Abarth Grande Punto, on this the latest round of the Italian rally championship. Emanuele Dati claimed a hotly contested third spot in a private Fiat Punto S2000.

Skoda Motorsport’s customer programme gaining positive results
Škoda Motosport’s customer programme is going from strength to strength.
Head of Škoda Motorsport Michal Hrabánek said: “Launched in the first half of this year, Škoda Motosport’s customer programme seems to be equally positive as the results of the factory team.”
The first private customer was Raimund Baumchlager’s BRR team, which was also involved in last year’s Fabia Super 2000 prototype testing. BRR takes part in the PWRC series… Continue reading

Rally 1000 Miglia 2009 Results and videos: Giandomenico Basso wins in Team D’Ambra Punto S2000
Giandomenico Basso has won the 2009 Rally 1000 Miglia for the second time. He was driving a D’Ambra Team run Abarth Punto and finished 33s ahead of the 207 S2000 of Renato Travaglia.
Basso was fastest on five of the thirteen special stages and leads the European Rally Championship after this, the first round. Travaglia is now leading Italian Rally Championship after two rounds.
