Stunning digitally remastered footage, by Duke Video, of Ford Motor Company’s competition department tackling the 1970 World Cup and ’77 RAC rallies.
The clip opens with an iconic sequence featuring Mick Jones and Stuart Turner (from behind bars in Chile!) dispensing advice to Tony Fall during the 1970 London to Mexico World Cup Rally.

Monte Carlo Rally 1972 video: Sandro Munari driving a Lancia Fulvia HF takes his first Monte win

Sandro Munari, in the works Lancia Fulvia HF, was gifted the 1972 Monte Carlo Rally after the Alpine-Renaults all had mechanical troubles after dominating the event.
Bernard Darniche was the last Alpine A110 to retire (with a new 1800 cc Berlinette engine which proved too much of a strain for the car’s gearbox) on the final Col de Turini stage to hand the win to Munari (his first Monte victory).

Daily Mirror RAC Rally of Great Britain 1972: Roger Clark beats the Scandinavians in the Mk1 Ford Escort RS 1600 “Esso Blue” LVX 942J

Roger Clark and new co-driver Tony Mason weren’t expected to win the RAC Rally in 1972, the Scandinavians were typically favoured as the event was being held in December that year with snow and wintry conditions likely.
