Robert Kubica confirmed as having bought Kopecky’s Skoda Fabia WRC

Robert Kubica has bought a world rally car and is rumoured to be considering entering a round of this year’s championship.
The 24-year-old’s new mount is a Skoda Fabia WRC, formerly rallied by Czech driver Jan Kopecky. Reports say Kubica made the purchase for “private tests and fun.”

Skoda Fabia S2000 test on tarmac with Jan Kopecky
Skoda continue their testing programme with Jan Kopecky the last couple of days on tarmac. Skoda have been testing the new car regularly over the last few months. Believed Oreca, the racing car specialists, are assisting with an aero package and engine development. The engine, which is a Seat WTCC unit, sounds more torquier than in previous tests.
