Rally Poland 2009: SS1 Results – Petter Solberg quickest

Petter Solberg set fastest time in his Citroen Xsara WRC on the first stage of the ORLEN Platinum 66 Rally Poland.

Citroen Total driver Sebastien Loeb was second quickest, 0.3s behind Solberg, though he was complaining of an overheating engine during the stage and there is only a 15 minute service before parc ferme.

Petter Solberg is trying out a number of different cars ahead of Rally Finland

Speaking at the Rally Poland pre-event press conference, Petter Solberg admitted that he is trying out a number of different car types before deciding what he will drive on Rally Finland in August.

Erik van Loon impresses during debut in Focus WRC on Vechtdal Rallysprint 2009
