Sanremo Rally 2001: Gilles Panizzi wins in Peugeot 206 WRC

The story of the 2001 San Remo Rally in which Gilles Panizzi won for the second year in a row behind the wheel of a Peugeot 206 WRC.

Audi quattro Group 4 1981 video

This video, uploaded by Marvdogger, traces the early competition days of the Audi quattro Group 4 model beginning with footage of Franz Wittmann (pictured) winning  the 1981 Janner Rallye by over 20 minutes on the car’s debut.

Video clips recently uploaded to motorsportmad.com of the 1983 World Rally Championship featuring the Tour de Corse, Acropolis Sanremo and 1000 Lakes rallies.
 
The clips are from APV who recorded most WRC events of the era and their coverage featured no commentary just the natural sounds of Group B.
