Aaron Burkart has entered the Skibbereen Fastnet Stages Rally 2008 in his C2 S1600 in preparation for Rally Ireland

JWRC star Aaron Burkart has entered the Fastnet Stages Rally in his Citroen C2 S1600 in preparation for Rally Ireland in Jan 09.

Burkart finished second in the Junior World Rally Championship this year and earned himself a drive in a Citroen C4 WRC, on a round of next year’s championship, as a prize in the Citroen C2 junior experience competition. His team are evaluating other WRCar drives… Continue reading

Patrik Sandell test Renault Clio S1600 for Rally Finland 2008

Video of Sandell testing before Neste Oil Rally Finland in the Clio S1600. Sandell is contesting this year’s JWRC as well as the PWRC. He needs to get some serious points on the board to be a contender for the JWRC this year as lies in 9th place.

Looks like Meeke may be in Killarney after all for Rally of The Lakes 2008

Kris Meeke’s name now appears on the Rally of The Lakes entry at no. 13. He is entered alongside Paul Nagle in a Renault Clio S1600, the car is believed to be Ian Roche’s machine. This will be a nice fillip for the organisers and more so the spectators, one wonders what angle the Clio will be up at the Gap
