Subaru World Rally Team still optimistic about running a third car next year in the WRC

Subaru WRT managing director Richard Taylor has stated to crash.net that he remains optimistic about running a third car next year and that an announcement will be made pretty soon.
He also added that Guy Wilks was still in the frame for the seat and negotiations are still ongoing with him.

Guy Wilks launches Back the Brit campaign to try and secure Subaru drive in 09

Guy Wilks has launched his Back the Brit campaign to try and raise two million pounds to secure a drive in the Subaru Manufacturer Team next year. Xevi Pons is trying to sort a deal for Rallye de Catalunya 2008 in a SWRT S14 WRC
Spaniard Xevi Pons is trying to sort a deal to drive a works Subaru S14 WRC on his home round Rally Spain later this year. Subaru managing director Richard Taylor stated, “It could happen but nothing is definite”.
