Rallye Principe de Asturias IRC 2008 Final Results and videos: Giandomencio Basso wins to restore some pride for the Abarth team

Once more, the action went down to the very final stage on the latest round of the IRC, the Principe de Asturias Rally in Spain. Although the all-asphalt event was brand new to the series this year as round seven, it became one of the closest fought contests in the IRC’s history. Mark Higgins was forced to cancel plans to enter Rallye Principe de Asturias in the MG S2000 due to budget constraints

Mark Higgins was forced to cancel an appearance on the Principe due to budget restictions but he hopes to possibly contest the IRC Rallye du Valais in his BGM MG S2000. He was scheduled to use the same Bill Gwynne Motorsport MG that he used in Ypres on the Rally Principe, wrote Motorsport News.
