Mads Ostberg will not be doing Rally Germany 2008 as team feel not well enough prepared
Mads Østberg will not be doing Germany due to some complications with the newly rebuilt car, according to rally-norsk.com. Ostberg has suffered two major accidents lately. One while testing in Germany and meeting a hinkelstein, and the other was in Finland during the rally last week. The team would have made it for the German WRC qualifier, but they decided not to as they didn’t feel they were well enough prepared.

Ford test for Rally Germany 2008, Hirvonen, Mikkelsen and Duval
Ford have been testing all week in Germany and following on from Latvala’s test on Tuesday and Wednesday it was the turn of Mikko Hirvonen. It was reported he suffered some mechanical trouble during one of his runs, but nothing too serious. Mikkelsen tested his new 07 on Friday while Duval was out on Saturday morning. Gig Galli and Mathew Wilson will be out on Sunday for their session.
