Mitsubishi UK select Gwyndaf Evans as Phillip Morrow’s replacement for the Ulster Rally 2008

Mitsubishi Motors UK has confirmed that it has entered a second car in the forthcoming Todds Leap Ulster Rally, round four of the Tesco 99 Octane MSA British Rally Championship, for Gwyndaf Evans.

Phillip Morrow will be in his own Mitsubishi Evo 9 for the Toddsleap.com Ulster Rally 2008
Morrow, who was sensationally sacked by Mitsubishi UK the other week, will take up his Ulster entry and use the Evo 9 he used to win the Evo Challenge last year. In an article in the Belfast Telegraph Morrow states he is determined to be there to prove to Mitsubishi UK that he is not a crasher.

Philip Morrow sacked by Mitsubishi just before his home rally
Philip Morrow has been sensationally sacked by the Mitsubishi UK rally team just before his home event the Ulster Rally. Autosport were the first publication to hint at the decision but it was confirmed today by Mitsubishi spokesman Simon Slade.
Sammy Hamill spoke today to Philip, who is naturally devasted, in the Belfast Telegraph.
