MSD disappointed to retire Opel Corsa S2000 so early from Ypres

Motor Sport Developments boss Dave Whitehead has expressed disappointment after the Opel Corsa OPC S2000 retired on SS1 from the Belgium Ypres Rally last weekend.
Alex Bengue was forced out of the event after damaging the engine. He continued running after losing all the oil out of the car when a union on the cooler pipe failed on the opening stage.

HANKOOK UNVEILS IRC LIVERY FOR YPRES RALLY
Hankook has unveiled the livery of the car that French ace Alex Bengue will drive this weekend on the Belgium Ypres Rally.
The MSD Corsa will start at number 18 for the IRC event and carries Hankook and Yacco decals. French oil giant Yacco has been a long term supporter of Bengue.

Gareth MacHale to pass up Opel Corsa S2000 IRC debut at Ypres

Gareth MacHale passed up the opportunity to give the MSD Opel Corsa OPC S2000 its IRC debut, in Belgium, as he will be contesting the clashing Donegal International Rally instead, according to Motorsport News.
Frenchman Alex Bengue will drive the Super 2000 machine on the Ypres Rally while MacHale will review his season’s plans after Donegal.
