WRC.com interview with Simon Long (ISC) about the future promotion of the World Rally Championship

WRC.com have interviewed International Sportsworld Communicators (ISC) CEO Simon Long about the future promotion of the World Rally Championship.
ISC were appointed global promoter for the WRC in January with a contract that runs from 2010 until 2020. With ISC already holding the commercial rights to the WRC, with North One Television, it effectively means that they can already start to implement changes now.

Armin Schwarz withdraws bid from the FIA tender for the role of WRC global promoter

Armin Schwarz and his partner, the Swiss consultancy firm ValueAdd group, have decided to pull out of the FIA tendering process for the WRC global promoter role, a position which is expected to commence in 2011.
Schwarz commented to rallye-magazin.de:
In this version, no one will sign the paper, not even North One.

WRC online revolution to begin with new computer rally game
Neil Duncanson, chairman of International Sportsworld Communicators, has stated to the the timesonline that ISC is currently looking at developing an online computer game that enables people to compete against WRC drivers live during events.
ISC is in discussion with a number of gaming companies about developing such a game. Duncunson believes that the technology and data available to ISC at the minute will help create a game which can be played in real time.
