A Kronos Racing-prepared car again won the laurels at the Belgium Ypres Rally for its 2009 edition, but it was not one of the Peugeot Belgium-Luxemburg cars: the honours this year went to a just as deserving Kris Meeke, driving a 207 S2000 bearing Peugeot UK colours.

Vouilloz says Meeke would be a fitting champion

Kris Meeke would be a worthy winner of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge according to Nicolas Vouilloz, the reigning IRC title-holder.

Meeke moved to the top of the drivers’ standings following his second victory of the season on Sata Rally Azores last week.
