Ralli Viru 2009: Georg Gross wins in Markko Martin Ford Focus RS WRC 03
Georg Gross (pictured above) won the 2009 Ralli Viru, the latest round of the Estonian rally championship, in an ex-Markko Martin Ford Focus WRC 03.
Markko Martin had just recently purchased his old machine for the Autospirit team, which he runs. Gross led from start to finish with his Autospirit teammate and future star Ott Tänak second in the Subaru Impreza WRX STI N14.

Markko Martin set to return for Richard Burns Memorial Rally 2009

Markko Martin is set to return for the 2009 Richard Burns Memorial Rally, according to Motorsport News.
Rally director, Ken Paterson, states that he has recieved a verbal assurance that Martin will return to the event that the Estonian won last year alongside Richard Burns’s former co-driver Robert Reid.

Ott Tänak claimed 3rd place overall on Rally Talsi 2009

Ott Tänak and Kristo Kraag, onboard their Subaru Impreza WRX STi, finished in third place overall on the recent Talsi Rally and were second in Group N despite a puncture on the last stage (pictured above).
The final stage was 33km long but after 23 km the tyre began going down and the crew lost first place in N4 by only +3.83 seconds.
