Video of the 1991 Manx International Rally in which Colin McRae (his 1992 BRC winning car is pictured above) would score one of his most significant early career victories.
The Manx would be his most accomplished drive of that season, where he comprehensively beat four-time winner Russell Brookes, who was in a Ford Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth 4×4, and Prodrive team-mate and asphalt expert Francois Chatriot.

Mark Higgins and Lynn Newby win Greenerways Rally

Sunday’s Greenerways Rally took the Eco Tyre project a step further, Mark Higgins (pictured above on the Jim Clark) and Lynn Newby leading the event which went some way to simulate a full rally traversing a forest stage.
Higgins and his stand-in co driver, TEG Sport team boss Newby, were probably favourites to win the event, after BRC rival Keith Cronin could not attend. Nevertheless… Continue reading
