Bruno Magalhaes will not be contesting Rallye Monte Carlo ‘09

Peugeot Portugal driver Bruno Magalhaes will not be contesting Rallye Monte Carlo due to a lack of necessary funds, according to autosport.aeiou.pt.

Rali de Mortagua 2008 Results and Videos: Bruno Magalhaes wins in his Peugeot 207 S2000

Bruno Magalhaes pretty much dominated the latest round of the Portuguese championship (which he has already won) the 2008 Rali de Mortagua.

He led from start to finish though was always hounded by the Punto of José Pedro Fontes, who would have finished even closer to Magalhaes but for a spin on the last stage.

Vouilloz wins thrilling Madeira to take lead in IRC and record the closest ever finish in the series

Vouilloz (207) claimed victory by just 5.4s from Basso (Punto). Vouilloz, however, drove a consistent rally and didn’t score many fastest times compared to his persuers. It was tyre choice which ulimately came to Vouilloz’s advantage.
