Munchi’s Ford WRT will remain a Manufacturer Team in the 2009 WRC
The Munchi’s team will stay a MT in next years WRC. Luis Perez Companc confirmed this after his final WRC event in Finland at the weekend. Companc added that he would like to see a fellow Argentine replace him but conceded that this was unlikely and that a European driver would probably get the seat.
Companc stated:
The team will remain in the WRC at least next year. I would like the second driver to come

Luis Perez Companc will call it a day after Rally Finland 2008
According to wrc.com Luis Perz Companc will retire from the WRC after Finland. Companc has also apparently bought an 07 Ford Focus for his car collection which he keeps in a museum. Included in his collection is an ex-Michael Schumacher F1 Ferrari which he takes out for the occassional blast round a circuit.
