Lombard RAC Rally 1990 – Video Clips: Carlos Sainz wins in Toyota Celica GT4

Video clips, uploaded by dgr64, of the 1990 Lombard RAC Rally which saw pacenotes introduced on the whole event for the first time.

Carlos Sainz would win his first RAC Rally in the year that he claimed his maiden WRC title. 1989 winner Pentti Airikkala suffered a monumental roll in his Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth RS on the Cropton stage.

1983 Lombard RAC Rally video: Stig Blomqvist wins in the Audi Sport UK entered quattro A2

Recently crowned British Open champion Stig Blomqvist completely dominated the 1983 Lombard RAC Rally in the David Sutton run Audi Sport UK quattro A2 to finish nearly 10mins ahead of Hannu Mikkola’s similar car.
