Jari-Matti Latvala will contest Rally Finland despite Poland crash – Video Clips

BP Ford team boss has stated that Jari-Matti Latvala will be driving for the team on Rally Finland, despite the Finn’s latest unbelievable error in Poland where he crashed out of the event, from a secure second place, on the very last stage.

Video clips of Jari-Matti Latvala’s dramatic final stage crash on Rally Poland 2009, where he retired from what a safe and comfortable second position for the BP Ford team.

Latvala nudged a sand filled oil barrel, forcing his Focus RS WRC off line and colliding straight on into the armco barrier. The Finn tried in vain to get the car to the end of the stage, but the suspension and steering were too badly damaged. The

BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team driver Mikko Hirvonen has won the 66 ORLEN Platinum Rally Poland 2009 and now moves into the lead of the World Rally Championship for the first time this season.
