Rally Video Collection 1977 – 1982: Group 4 through to the dawn of Group B

A golden period for rallying was definitly the Group 4 era which consisted mainly of rear wheel drive, 2 litre machines, of which 400 identical cars needed to be produced for homologation.

Drivers like Andruet Munari, Rohrl, Alen, Waldegard, Mikkola, Bacchelli, Mouton, Tabaton, Cerrato, Darniche, Vatanen etc etc. Classic events were a constant during this time with Monte Carlo, Acropolis, RAC, Safari, Portugal, Sanremo all part of the calendar… Continue reading
