18. RALLYE TERRE DU DIOIS 2009: Dominique Bruyneel triumphs in Subaru Impreza WRC
Dominique Bruyneel won the 2009 RALLYE TERRE du DIOIS in his BMA prepared Subaru S5 WRC and he now moves into the lead of the French gravel championship after 3 rounds.
Bruyneel finished the rally over a minute and a half ahead of Paul Chieusse’s Peugeot 206 WRC, with Cedric Cherain third in a Subaru N12. Belgian driver Bob Colsoul finished in fourth place with his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X.

Cyprus Rally 2009 Shakedown Results: Sordo fastest in newly liveried Citroen C4 WRC
Dani Sordo set the fastest shakedown time today in his newly liveried Citroen C4 WRC and was 0.3s faster than the Xsara of Petter Solberg.
Sordo stated:
In general everything is okay. If it rains tomorrow it will be more slippery but it will affect everyone.
Seb Ogier was third with Loeb fourth in their C4’s as Latvala set fifth fastest in his Focus on the 4.49km asphalt test.

Francois Duval unsure if he will have a programme in the 2009 WRC

Francois Duval still dosen’t know what programme he will have next year in the WRC and states he is still trying to secure the necessary budget.
