Mikko Hirvonen was the guest star at Rallyday Castle Combe 2008
Here’s a couple of videos of RALLYDAY which was held at Castle Combe and featured Mikko Hirvonen as the main attraction in the BP Abu Dhabi Ford Focus WRC 08. Hirvonen was immediately on a flight to Corsica after the event to begin pre-rally testing as Francois Duval and the M-Sport team are already there getting to grips with the Focus WRC 08.

Francois Duval quickest on Rally Germany 2008 Shakedown ahead of Dani Sordo
Duval was quickest in shakedown today for the ADAC Rallye Deutschland but is playing down his chances on the rally. The shakedown was a 5.8km test near the event’s base in Trier. Dani Sordo came second just .6 of a second behind with Hirvonen third. Seb Loeb was fourth just 1.1s behind Duval.

Ford Focus RS WRC 08 at Rally Germany Shakedown featuring new grill and headlight design, or is it just an illusion
The new Ford Focus WRC 08 seen here for the first time with it’s new front aero design at the Rallye Deutschland 2008 Shakedown. This is the first time Hirvonen and Latvala have driven the 08 car with the new front styling.
