Kris Meeke wins Sol Rally Barbados for second year in a row

Kris Meeke (Subaru Impreza S9 WRC) has won the 2009 Sol Rally Barbados by 16.75s ahead of second place man Paul Bird (Ford Focus RS WRC07).

Sebastien Loeb won Wales Rally GB 2008 after a titanic final day battle with Jari-Matti Latvala.

The fight went down to the final stage where Loeb thought he was 2.4s behind Latvala due to an alleged jump start penalty of 10s being imposed on the Frenchman for SS18. The penalty was later dropped but Loeb would have won the rally regardless after an amazing final stage push… Continue reading

Gudang Garam International Rally Indonesia 2008 Results: Gaurav Gill wins as Katsu Taguchi and Cody Crocker continue their battle for the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship crown

Indian driver Gaurav Gill won the Rally Indonesia after a great battle with Cody Crocker ended two stages from the finish. Gill had led after the first day by 35s but Crocker responded on day 2 and was leading when his tyre deflated with two stages left of the rally. Crocker had been slowed on day 1 with a faulty camshaft sensor.
