Topaz Donegal International Rally 2009: Results – MacHale wins – Photos – Video Clips

Gareth MacHale has won his first International event with a fine victory on the 2009 Topaz Donegal Rally.

MacHale dominated the event, leading from the first stage and he was never headed throughout the three days in the Ford Focus WRC 06. This victory was a long time coming for the talented Dubliner and will boost his confidence for the rest

Donegal Rally 2009: Day 2 Leaderboard – Gareth MacHale maintains lead

Gareth MacHale (pictured above), in the Ford Focus WRC, has maintained his pace from the first day by continuing to lead the Donegal International Rally after Day 2.

TOPAZ Donegal International Rally 2009: Day 1 Results – MacHale leads – Video Clip

Gareth MacHale (pictured above), who has reverted back to the 06 Focus WRC for this event, leads the 2009 Donegal International Rally at the end of Day 1.

MacHale posted five fastest times from the six stages that made up today’s leg and is ahead of second placed man Eamonn Boland, in the Subaru Impreza S12C, by 22s.
