Safari Rally 2009 result boosts Mitsubishi’s IRC title bid

Japanese automaker Mitsubishi closed to within ten points of French rival Peugeot in the battle for the Intercontinental Rally Challenge manufacturers’ crown earlier this month, when Carlo Tundo won his home event, the Safari Rally, in Kenya.

Kenya wants Safari Rally back into the World Rally Championship

Organisers of the East African Safari Rally have been urged by the Kenyan government to do all it can to get the event back on the WRC calendar according to MN.
