According to rallye-magazine.de Manfred Stohl could partner Peter van Merksteijn jr in the Van Merksteijn Motorsport Manufacturer Team next year. Stohl was in discussions with the family owned team during Rally Catalunya.

Van Merksteijn Motorsport have announced their WRC programme for 2009 which kicks off with Rally Ireland

Van Merksteijn Motorsport have announced which events they will tackle in the 2009 WRC. They have an eight event programme starting with Rally Ireland and ending with Wales Rally GB in October.
